In these Terms & Conditions, references to “you” or “your” means the student booking a course
(“course”) of  driving lessons (“lessons”) and/or any of the practical driving ( “test”) through Blackpool Crash Courses.

1.The Course

1.1 You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and present it to your driving Instructor
at the start of your first lesson. In making this booking, you confirm that you do hold a valid
provisional driving licence. You must bring your licence with you to the course and the driving
test. Failure to do so will result in the course and/or test being canceled without a refund.

1.2 It is your responsibility to be on time for your course, as the driving instructor may have other
lessons to deliver, the lessons will not be extended to compensate for you arriving late. You will
be given clear start times for your course. It’s your responsibility to adhere to these times.

1.3 It’s important that you choose a course carefully based on your current driving ability. The
driving instructor reserves the right to terminate the course if the driving instructor deems the
course is not adequate for your current driving ability.

1.4 The driving instructor may refuse to allow you to use the tuition vehicle to take a practical
driving test if the driving instructor reasonably determines your driving does not meet the
necessary standard to take a practical driving test on the grounds that it would be a risk to
yourself, the examiner, or the public. Including; pedestrians and other motorists, or there is a
risk of damage to the driving instructor’s property and livelihood.

1.5 If the driving instructor feels that you have chosen the wrong course for your ability and the
driving instructor feels that the course is not adequate enough for your current driving ability
then an assessment of your driving will be carried out, f we advise that you are open and honest about your driving ability
before booking your course.

If you are unsure, we advise that you book an assessment lesson
before booking a course.

According to the Driving Standards Agency (DVSA), a person who has zero driving
experience will need around 44 hours of professional lessons to pass your driving test
with an additional 22 hours of private practice. Please bear this in mind before booking
your course.

1.6 Your driving course will be on a one to one basis (no car sharing with other pupils) and with
a fully qualified driving instructor.

1.7 Regular breaks will be made throughout each day of your course to ensure that you don’t
exert yourself.

2.Behavior
2.1 We reserve the right to refuse tuition if we suspect that you are under the influence of
alcohol or illegal substances.
2.2 Golden Mile Driving School has a zero tolerance policy regarding abuse, harassment or
violence whether physical or verbal towards driving instructors and reserves the right to cancel
your booking in the event. Your deposit and balance will be non-refundable.

3. Deposit
3.1 When booking your course a deposit must be paid within 24 hours. If you cancel the course
after 7 days of paying the deposit then the deposit will be non refundable.
4. Payment of the balance
4.1 The remaining balance of your course is to be paid to the driving instructor on the first day of
your course, either by bank transfer or cash. We do not accept cheque. Failure to pay the
balance on the first day of your course may result in the course being canceled.

5. The Driving Test
5.1 In the rare event that the DVSA should cancel your driving test then its normal practice for
the DVSA to refund you the test fee. If Blackpool Crash Courses  should cancel the test due to illness, injury
or mechanical failure then we will refund the practical test fee. Blackpool Crash Courses
cannot be held responsible if the DVSA should cancel your test.

5.2 We can not guarantee that you will pass the practical driving test. Choosing a course wisely
based on your current driving experience will give you a greater chance of passing but does not
guarantee a pass.

6. Downgrading your course
6.1 If the driving instructor feels that you have overbooked a course, and the course is deemed
too long for your ability then the driving instructor will give you the option to downgrade the
course and a partial refund may be offered.

7. Complaints

7.1 We take all customer complaints seriously, if you wish to make a complaint then please
